my dream house is....
ga neko-neko sih, cuma pengen rumah kecil yang di kelilingi oleh halaman yang luas (percis kaya yg di ps)
ada 5 kamar tidur, 4 hamar mandi, 2 ruang tamu, 1 ruang makan, 1 ruang bermain, 1 mushola, 1 dapur, ada ruang cuci baju + nyeterika baju, tempat buat jemur pakaian...

dan yang di benak gw bentuk rumahnya itu
3 tingkat aja, tingkat pertama ada ruang tamu dibagian depan, dan sisanya buat kamar tidur,
kamar tidur utama, 2 kamar tidur anak-anak dan 1 kamar tidur tamu
tingkat kedua buat mushola, ruang bermain, dapur n ruang makan trus
tingkat ke tiganya tuh buat tempat cuci baju alias loundry room, kamar asisten rt, jemur2 baju,
n sisa tempatnya buat nanem2 lagi bikin taman diatas rumah....

mudah2an aja cita-cita n my dream may cometrue soon yah ga lebih dari 3 tahun deh...

hari ini dapet tugas tuk hadir buat pelatihan ppatrs di luar kota
pake nginep lagi
ga masalah n seneng sih sebenernya, tapi masalahnya now i have a baby
a kid who still need me at night
and his father will going to tegal n somewere else...
trus yg jagain my aat tuh sopo???
hmmm klo my hubby batalin perginya lagi sih gw ga gitu kepikiran
tapi gw yg ga enak bgt bikin rencana my hubby batal lagi batal lagi
i'm really sorry for both my son n my hubby

ayah.... nia minta maaf ya klo selalu bikin rusak rencana-rencana kamu
bener ini bukan kemauan nia...
nia dapet perintah dari kantor n sebagai bawahan ya nia cuma bisa nurutin yg diperintahin aja
pengennya sih bisa bawa aat ikut ke sana
tapi disana siapa yg mo ngejagain? neneknya kan ga mungkin mau ikut

duuuuuuh stres dah ah...
semoga semua pengorbanan ini berbuah kebaikan tuh semua...

tadi pagi sempet brosing-brosing sebentar coz pengen tau kenapa kok desktrometropan alias dmp itu ga boleh diberikan buat anak kecil...
setelah baca sana baca sini barulah gw tau klo desktrometropan itu derivat (alias turunan) dari morfin... dan salah satu alesan kenapa ga baik diberikan tuk anak kecil coz dmp itu menekan batuk, sehingga dahaknya ga keluar...

begitu baca itu.... what??? gw pikir dmp itu untuk menghilangkan gatal di tenggorokan aja...
ternyata kok begitu yah...
mana farhat obat batuk racikannya ada salah satunya tuh dmp...
sedih banget klo inget anak gw yg umurnya baru 2 thn 6 bulan udah nyicipin morfin (walaupun bukan yg morfin beneran... tapi kan tetep aja)...

apalagi ada keterangan klo dmp itu bisa bikin nyandu... duh serem banget
akhirnya obat batuk yg ada isinya dmp itu di stop pemakaiannya n cuma diminumin muxocolnya aja... coz isinya cuma ambroxol (walo dari artikel yg gw baca, batuk pilek tuh ga usah diminumin obat, tar juga sembuh sendiri)..

duuh.. sedih banget nih gw dah ngeracunin anak gw sendiri...
moga2 ga terjadi hal-hal yg jelek nantinya...

dua minggu yang lalu pulang dari rumah eyang, farhat mulai demam, ga tinggi sih cuma sekitar 38 koma sekian derajat celcius aja.
trus minum tempra 'n turun deh panasnya...
besoknya dari pagi demamnya kumat lagi, dapet tambahan batuk-batuk kecil alhasil ga di mandiin pagi-pagi mandi ma neneknya aja biar bisa siangan dikit mandinya
dan puncaknya senin malam farhat batuk-batuk sampe muntah dan yang bikin ngeri tuh abis muntah badan farhat mengigil...
inget pengalaman jaman dulu klo badannya anget trus ngegigil artinya farhat akan panas tinggi...
akhirnya farhat diselimutin n dikasih obat proris supossituria (itu tuh obat panas yang dimasukin lewat anus) setelah konsultasi dokter tentunya coz sebelumnya farhat baru minum tempra (obat turun panas juga)...
biarpun dah dikasih proris supp tapi panasnya ga kunjung turun alias terus menanjak sampai dengan 40 derajat celcius, mana ga mau dikompres lagi. yang ada colong-colongan aja ngompresnya ma farhat. berhasil cuma 5 menit doang abis itu farhat sadar klo lagi dikompres n alhasil dia marah-marah padahal kan lagi demam. dia ga tau ummahnya udah stres berat takut terjadi apa-apa ma dia.
setelah 1 jam setengah akhirnya panasnya mulai turun.... farhat bisa tidur tenang selama 1 jam an. coz panasnya dateng lagi, liat jam trus ngitung dah 4 jam pa belom dari pemberian obat turun panas terakhir begitu ngitung udah 4 jam kurang akhirnya dikasih minum tempra supaya ga naek lagi panasnya...

pagi akhirnya dateng juga, mandi n siap-siap bawa farhat ke dokter, sayang dokternya farhat lagi diluar kota di ntt, so pake dokter yg laen yg terkenal bagus juga. periksa sana periksa sini n bilang klo panasnya itu dari radang tenggorokan n ma dokternya dikasih lagi proris supp coz panasnya dah tinggi lagi, n dapet pesen dari dokternya klo sampe malem kamis masih panas juga kamisnya dibawa lagi untuk periksa darah. 'n u know what.... malam selasanya farhat masih juga panas n akhirnya sampe 2x dikasih proris supp. cadangan proris supp 5 sampe abis... ga nahan liat farhat panas n masih diganguin juga dengan batuk-batuk plus muntahnya. setiap abis muntah ditanya mo mimi putih or susu n jawabannya "ga mauuu tar untah agi.." duh ngenes banget rasanya...

kamis akhirnya bawa lagi ke rs buat di periksa darahnya... untung farhat masih aktif banget alias pecicilan ga bisa diem. nunggu 1 jam buat ambil hasilnya. setelah ambil hasil kembali farhat ketemu sama om dokter... hasil dibaca dokter n haslnya semua normal... n yang jadi pertanyaan kenapa kok terus-terusan panasnya naik turun terus... kan pengennya klo dah turun panasnya ya udah jangan naik lagi...

pulang kerumah setelah nebus obat lagi n antibiotik lagi... nitipin farhat ma neneknya n kembali ke tempat kerja...
dari kamis sampe rabu panas masih datang dan pergi terus n batuknya makin parah, dahaknya kental banget sampe kayaknya susah buat di keluarin, so farhat setiap batuk pasti muntah... n nangis-nangis klo disuruh mimi putih...

setiap malam farhat digantiin bajunya sampe 4 kali coz basah keringar or kena muntah....

kamis minggu berikutnya karena farhat masih demam n batuk berdahaknya masih aja ada
dibawa lagi lah farhat ke dokter (kali ini dokter langganannya farhat dah praktek lagi dah kembali ke jakarta)
cek sana cek sini (sambil nanya benjolan yg ada di kepala penis nya farhat itu apa) n jawab dokternya gpp nanti juga ilang sendiri. akhirnya dikasih resep lagi buat batuk n radang tenggorokannya...

resep di tebus semua, tapi antibiotik ga diminumin ke farhat cuma obat batuk n yg buat ngencerin reaknya aja.
malemnya brosing sana brosing sini nemu bacaan klo batuk tuh angan dikasih dmp alias destrometrofan, tuiiiing... di resep racikannya farhat ada dmp nya dan udah dikasihin pula ke anaknya.

yah berdoa aja semoga semua obat yang diminum farhat bermanfaat buat nyembuhin dia. dan untungnya panasnya farhat udah ga dateng lagi cuma anget-anget aja, yah 37 - 38 derajat celcius... yang mengahawatirkan cuma batuknya aja coz ya itu tiap batuk pasti muntah.

oh iya badan farhat sampe gosong gara-gara panas tingginya kemaren itu... kesian liatnya gosong dan kering...
tapi senengnya udah 3 hari ini farhat dah mau nyusu lagi... ketakutan dehidrasi paling ngga udah teratasi deh...
sekarang tinggal recovery dari batuknya aja...

moga-moga aja ga nyampe lama sembuhnya...

oh iya sebelum obat dokter, farhat udah dibikinin obat-obatan tradisional kaya kunyit di parut kasih air panas saring n kasih 1 sendok makan jeruk nipis n 4 sendok makan madu, diminumin 3 x sehari. (biasanya resep ini manjur buat ngilangin demam n calon batuknya farhat, tapi entah kenapa kok kali ini ga mau yah)
trus dibuatin kencur diparut n dikasih garem dikit (hasilnya tetep aja kosong)
daun saga juga udah dipake sebagai obat alternatif juga ga ngaruh.
untuk nurunin demam sampe hal-hal yg ga masuk akal juga dilakonin demi nurunin demam farhat..
ari-ari keringnya farhat direndem beberapa saat ma air mateng trus di minumin ke farhat supaya bisa turun panasnya juga ga ngaruh... (padahal tu ari-ari dah basah kuyup sampe 2 x malam itu, mudah-mudahan aja ari-arinya ga jamuran gara-gara direndemin mulu)

REPOSITIONING PEOPLE

One of the traits of outstanding leaders is that they properly place people within a team. Good leaders have the ability to see their people, sense where they are and put them in the right place. So why do so many leaders place so many people in so many wrong places?



I've identified five reasons.



1. Failure to know the requirements needed to make a job successful.



I'm not talking about the job description, and I'm not talking about how you do a job. I'm talking about what a particular person has to do to be successful. Make a list those qualities. It could be two or three things; it could be 10. Whatever those things are, you have to go out and find people who have a giftedness to match those qualities so that you put the right people in the right place.



2. Failure to know the skills and the giftedness of the person.



Sometimes we know what gifts and skills are required for success in a particular job, but we do a poor job evaluating the giftedness of the person we place in that position. Maybe we know a particular job needs someone who is detail-oriented, but we fail to recognize that the person we're putting in that position breaks out in hives when overwhelmed with details.



3. Failure to move people when either the job or the person is changing.



While it's common for people to get promoted out of a job that really fits their skills, it's also possible for them to stay in a position so long that they no longer do it well.

As a leader, you might place someone in a position that is a great match with that person's uniqueness and giftedness, only to look up later and realize that the person's productivity has fallen sharply.



What happened?



Something changed. Maybe the job changed. Maybe the organization changed. Maybe the person changed. Maybe you changed. Maybe everything changed.



I have found many people end up in the wrong place only because they stayed in the right place too long. They were in the right place in the beginning, but the right place becomes the wrong place if the job changes or if the person changes. So the right place can become the wrong place over a matter of time.



4. Failure to be patient.



Sometimes the person is in the right place, but they have to grow into it. And not only do they have to grow into it, but they also have to be trained and developed into it. You know they have the giftedness, they have the ability, they have the passion; but they need time and someone to help them. Smaller organizations often can't afford to hire the best, so they have to hire young people with great potential and then train them.

In "The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork" I write about the 'Law of Dividends', which is, "Investing in the team compounds over time." As you invest in your team, especially if you have them in the right place, the team is going to compound in a very positive way for you. Of course, if you don't have the right players in the right place, time isn't going to do it.



5. Failure to prepare.



Many times we haven't done enough front-end homework as leaders, so we aren't prepared to place people where they can grow and can blossom.



When we consistently fail to place people in the right place within the team, several things inevitably infect our team like an angry parasite. Morale suffers, people lose their willingness to play as a team and confidence erodes. As a result, potential goes unrealized, progress is hindered and our competitors benefit.



On the other hand, organizations do best when the people within them are carefully put in the right places. People are encouraged and fulfilled, growth is ensured, teamwork is increased and victories are secured. And, for leaders, there is a huge reward in seeing your players in the right place, doing the right thing for the right reasons.
